“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained’” (John 20:21-23).
As we prepare for the birth of Christ, our Savior – we invite you to join us for an evening of prayer and Reconciliation. Following a brief prayer service, our local vicariate priests will be present throughout the Church to hear Confessions. No matter how long its been, we encourage you to return to our Lord’s mercy and obtain forgiveness for our sins so that we can be reconciled with God and the Church to become spiritually renewed and ready to receive the newborn King.
Here is an Examination of Conscience for adults to help you prepare for this special opportunity: http://www.ncregister.com/info/confession_guide_for_adults
