Our retreat on Saturday for all who were baptized and brought into full Communion with the Catholic Church was grace-filled. A beautiful sunny morning was the setting for a “pilgrim” Rosary. Lunch was a delightful sharing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation was celebrated and great joy was experienced by all.
All are committed to practice the faith in the Catholic Church, frequent the sacraments, attend church on Sundays and holy days, continue to study their faith and always try to remain in the state of grace. All know that the parish community was praying and interceding to God for them.
This is a major life-long commitment and not one to be taken lightly.
Please greet them, congratulate them and welcome these new Catholics. Warmly invite them to join one of our many parish committees. A year ago we encouraged them to join the Catholic Church so now we also need to encourage them to stay and become active evangelizers as well.
