Apostles of the Word

A missionary family at the service of the Catholic Church.

Mondays at 7:00pm in Classroom #4

Purpose: Bring all types of the faithful together into a single family to help them to live their Christian vocation more effectively and fully in an eminently missionary spirit.

Objectives:

1. Make the word of God known by every possible means;
2. Encourage young people to dedicate one year of apostolic service to the Church
3. Promote and defend the Catholic Faith

Apostles of the Word feel called to work in the places and environments most in need and there, in the name of the Church, to transmit Christian doctrine faithfully.

The apostolate focuses on three areas:

1. Biblical pastoral ministry; through a series of very simple courses, we promote knowledge of the Bible
2. Promotion and defense of the faith
3. Permanent parish missions

We seek to seriously confront the problem of remoteness from God, characteristic of the majority of our Catholic brothers and sisters.

Members are committed lay people who promote these studies, to strengthen the faith and foster the missionary spirit (Mk 16:15).
