Volunteer Music Director:
Hayley McCullough, MSM
There are currently four separate music "teams" that lead music at St. Peter for the 5:00pm Saturday vigil mass and the 8:00am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm Sunday masses. While Hayley is the head music volunteer coordinator and director, each Mass team is essentially autonomous and has a lead contact to connect with for that particular Mass. They are as follows:
Saturday 5:00pm Vigil - Regina Price
Sunday, 8:00am - Richard Greiner and Terry McElligott
Sunday, 10:30am - Hayley McCullough
Sunday, 12:30pm - Kevin Espinosa
If you possess musical talent and history, and are interested in joining any of the music teams, please get in touch with the office staff and indicate which team head you'd like to connect with. Once in touch with them, the following steps would occur:
1) Set up a time to discuss musical abilities and expectations
2) Observe a pre-Mass rehearsal in order to both determine if it's a good fit (required)+ There may be those who have the sacred willingness to help lead the music, but lack the musical ability, just as there are those in the pews with true musical ability, but who lack the willingness. A marriage between the two are the people the church music ministry deeply needs and requires. +
Current Musical Needs:
(Contact the office to inquire)- Sub Pianist for the 10:30am Mass, willing to cover the Sundays when our current two primary volunteers are unavailable. As needed basis.
- String Instrumentalists for the 10:30am Mass, for preludes and/or accompaniment during the Mass (must be teenaged or older)
