Seeking the Lord is our Lenten focus. As we prepare for Jesus's sacrifice and resurrection, we are asked to devote ourselves to PRAYER and reading Scripture, to SERVE others, and to practice SELF-CONTROL through fasting (Ash Wednesday & Good Friday) and abstaining from red meat of Fridays. By making ourselves less, we open up time and find new ways to reflect His goodness into the world.
SPRING into ACTION: Please add a leaf to our Lenten Tree! Acknowledge a kindness shown or shared with/by you this season by coloring a leaf and sharing your experience.
Lent is a great time to read/discuss bible stories, pray with your kids and mark their prayer growth by putting it to purpose.
Mass attendance is vital to preparation for Eucharist. Be open to your kids questions about the Mass, ask them what they heard that stuck with them, let them know you are praying for them!
